I have been playing a long time sunshine on my wii. I finally got almost all shines (119) and I can't find last one. I remember long time ago that I cleaned the shine gate before I acquired rocket nozzle and I couldn't reach the shine. And now when I'm trying to clean that "already cleaned shine statue on gate" again, nothing happends. Is that save file now un-finishable or what? What should I do now?

I clean that off before I acquired the rocket nozzle in the plaza and I couldn't get the shine because I didn't have the rocket nozzle Yet but when I went in or out of the stage or quit the game and reopened my save file the shine gate had be been repainted but when I got the rocket nozzle in the plaza and collected the shine the shine gate didn't get repainted.
So that must mean you Already collected the shine
So what you should do is press Z and click on the shine sprite and look for the shine you missed
