I don't know how to beat the cannon on the carnival and I have 20 shine sprites but I don't see the rainbow thing?

For the "rainbow thing", get more sprites and something should happen. By cannon, do you mean the Baby Bowser boss? You need to aim carefully when you shoot the missiles at Baby Bowser. Also, try not to let the bullet-bills get to you--they can kill you!
