Question for Super Mario Sunshine

I have two questions:

1: You know the hidden village that you get to by going through the pipe on top of the ancient sprite in Delfino Plaza, how do you beat those fiery chompers in Episode 1?

2: On the beach that you get to by getting Yoshi to eat the giant pineapple then going down the pipe, how do you beat the manta in Episode 1?

1.) Ok - this is Pianta Village - there are 3 chomps. You should stay by the water spring and wait for a chomp to come to you. Hose it down until it turns black - then - grab its tail and turn it so that it's facing the spring - pull back and let go. Do the same thing for the other two chomps and the Shine will appear.

2.) Alright - this is Sirena Beach - to beat the Manta is going to take a lot of water! It starts off as just a giant mass which leaves a trail of electrical goop - which can hurt you. Just keep spraying this creature - eventually - the water will cause it to divide into smaller forms. Keep hosing them down - once you break them down into their smallest forms - they will try to avoid you. However - when they are ALL in their smallest forms - they will turn pink and start to come after you. Try the Hover Nozzle - once you destroy all of the pink ones - their smallest forms - you will get the well deserved Shine!

1. Shout water on the fiery chompers, than take there tails by holding the B button and direct them to the nierest lake than late go.

2.You jump in the air than hold the R button and go over it. It will becaume two, than tree... When all the mantas are thiny, they will becaume red. When the are red you can destroy them by spraying them.
