Question for Star Fox Adventures

Is there an easy way to beat the lightfoot king's strength test. And how do you open the metal doors, for example Behind the queen earthwalker and behind the cannon.

If you rub a pencil quickly across the A button, you will win very quickly. The metal door s can only be opened once you get a certain staff upgrade.

If you can press the "A" button at least 5 times per second you should be fine.
This game was ludicrously easy to me so you should be able to complete it.

Note: My record is pressing the "A" button 11 times per second,
But you don't have to press that fast. Press the button at a regular, average speed and "Musclefoot" should get tired. If you're about to lose press faster.
You can do it!!

To get behind the large portals you will need the "Portal opener".
You can find it in thorntail hollow after the third krazoa spirit has been released.
Find the distressed mother thorntail and protect her eggs.

Note: The ground quake will come in handy when protecting the eggs.
