Question for Star Fox Adventures

I just jumped thru the 4 silver rings.

Then I opened the cage door but General Scales was there and he trapped me in a dungeon.

The Sharpclaw has my staff, and the hint says to get the disguise to get my staff away from the Sharpclaw.

Can someone help me get out of the dungeon and get the disguise?

First sneak past the sleeping sharpclaw.

Then keep going till there is a room on the left go in there then put the barrel on the whirlwind.

Step on the button and wait for the crate to blow now you have the sharpclaw disguise.

This had me puzzled the first time too!

Anyway, you need to go past the sleeping sharpclaw that has your staff.

If you try to get it now, he will wake up when you step in the puddles around him.

When you go up the hall you should see a fire power symbol.

Go to the left and into a room that has a bomb and a fan.

Place the bomb in the middle of the fan then go and stand on the switch when the bomb's time starts to run out.

If you did it right you should have blown a hole in the ceiling and you will get the sharpclaw disguise!

Activate it in your staff powers menu then go talk to the gaurd. He will say he needs a break and will go away, then you can get your staff back.

Unlock the stuff in the cages, including the old dinosaur. After that go back up the hallway and shoot the fire symbol.
