secret character?

When you view the opening movie in extras who is the weird character at the end of it that has those red electric eyes?
please help.

Have you ever played one of those earlier Sonic games like Sonic R or Sonic CD? If you don't know who that is then I'd be gladly to tell you. That character is known as Metal Sonic. He is known to be one of the bosses in the game. Hope this helps.

Well you guys are PARTIALLY right he's acyually known as Neo Metal Sonic it's an upgraded version of metal sonic which can even change his shape and turn into liquid metal because in the end cutcenes show a fake eggman turninng to liquid metal then to Neo Metal Sonic
