Knuckles' sunglasses are only available on Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.

You can't get them on the first one.

Thing answered:

To get Knuckles Sunglasses, near the tower in Meteor Herd, there are rocks to punch. Punch them and when they hit some of the doors there is an iron box. Break it and there is a switch. The bottom of the tower will open and they are there. Use them like the treasure scope. Where the sunglasses are,ther are alot of rings and lves only obtainable using Sunglasses.
