Question for Sonic Adventure DX Director's Cut

Where near the temple is the stone statue? Thanks (I keep looking!) Also, what is the curious area the old explorer is talking about?

1:if you mean the one with knuckles to where you have to find the two keys the grayish one is. First go to the temple where the keys are and go right so you'll be heading out of the temple part. Then go up (not twards fence) follow that path and you should see a weird thing ( kinda hard to see) go forward like 4 steps move your camra and you should see a path and wala ( You have to dig to get it like when you had to explode the monkey.)
2:I think hes takin bout bigs house or the ruins. Hope I helped
