Can somebody please tell me all of the unlockable characters and how to unlock them?

Theirs sonic of course
Tails you get him when you save him with sonic in begging
Knuckles you get him when you see him
Amy you get her as soon as you see her
Big the cat as soon as you meet him
E-102 a robot you get him as soon as you see or battle him
Then the secret character is super sonic you get him as soon as you beat the game with every one
