Why is my Neutral/Fly chao white with a pink, purple, and blue s

I don't get it, because everybody is coming up with purplish-pink chao when it is neutral/fly but mine is all white with a yellow belly, and on it's horns, arms, and legs it has a pink, purple, and blue stripe. Is it just a modification for gamecube version? If it helps, the chao was born as the original chao color (blue with yellow on it's arms, legs, and tip) and I have had the chao for a very long time. It is as if the chao inherited the colors of a hero chao yet has the shape of a neutral chao. I really need an answer ASAP and if you aren't sure just tell me anyway, anything might help me see if this is normal or a valuable chao.
