The half-fish is located at Hidden Base. You have to knock out all the walls, go inside and get the half-fish. It'll be green,with black and red eyes, and fish-like flippers.

You can find a half fish in pumpkin hill if you get all three chao boxes

There is one at rouge`s egg quarters. It`s in the red area but it`s in a box. I don`t know how to break it yet.
