I just want to be sure: to make a sonic chao you just have to rase a neutral chao with alot of running right? My chao is a neutral run type with about 56 running level and 12 stamina but it's green- tell me if I'm doing this wrong and what I have to do to make it a sonic chao. Thanks!!

I've done this with 3 of my Chao so I'll try to remember what I did. Well yes you need to raise it at Neutral Running. It took me about a few weeks to do this so please be patient. Feeding it running animals is part of the key. Feed it some food and different animals to make it change. The same rules apply if you want a Shadow Chao.
I managed to get 2 Sonic Chao like this and 1 Super Sonic Chao. Hope this helps.
You did it right so far but after you got him to level 30 on run it depends on his age when he is three or four he will look more like sonic
