Stuck after 'Maw of Tartas'

When Vyse opens lifeboat door,picture goes away and sound stays.Now it seems I have switched ships with pirates, so maybe there's no lifeboats on this ship called Belarus.?Drachma gives me no choice to get out of Valua.My save point is at Tartas.Is there a cheat I can use to get out of this place so I can continue this game and maybe change to the right ship?

Sounds like a glitch. After you reach the Seal, you should eventually have cutscene that leads to a fight with the giant arcwhale. The Little Jack gets damaged and Drachma orders you to abandon ship. THEN you get into the lifeboats.
