How do you get to the ship wreck and find the umbrella?

To get the umbrella you have to play your way through the hedge maze to get to the boss fight with the green ghost. After you win this fight you get the professor's umbrella invention, which allows you to continue on in Smuggler's Cove. To get to the shipwrecks you have to play up to Going Down Witch Way and use the umbrella to float there using the air vent.
