Hi I'm in the mercenaries and I was wondering do you have to get a five star ranking on every place to unlock the hand cannon and how much is it?

Yes, get 5 star ranking for every character on every place AND ignore both of the guys above me, yeah the hand cannon is free BUT it costs about 7-8 thousand pesetas in order to upgrade it to the max. You could upgrade it to get infinite ammo and firepower to 99.0.

You got it right. The cost of the Handcannon is one million Pasentas and you have to upgrade it yourself. But, like with the Chicago Typewriter and the Infinite Rocket Launcher, it is very possible to run through the game simply using that gun, if you can fully upgrade it, that is.

Some of you are incorrect mybe all the handcannonn is free cost 750thousand pesetas to upgrade estimate and also gives you infinite ammo once fully pgraded and 99.0firepower devil jin was closest to answer correctly but to upgrade doesn't cost 7-8thousand pesetas

Also you have to beat mercanaries with all charecters in all maps to unlock hand cannon word of advice never sell if upgrade you sell for 0 pesetas

To get a 5-Star ranking, you have to score not less than 60,000 points. You must do this in each zone with each character. No exceptions.
The Handcannon itself is free, but only has a firepower of 30 and 3 rounds of ammo. It costs 790,000 to upgrade the gun to firepower 99.9 and infinite ammo.
The Handcannon has ZERO resale value. Period.

Yes you do have to get 5* but ignore anyone that says the power 99.0 I own it fully tuned up so I know the power is 99.9
