A few questions for a new trainer

I just need to know what the main idea is of this games.

And is there a starter Pokemon for it

The main idea is that you have to stop the evil organization called cipher from creating shadow Pokemon to rule the world. To do this you must steal the shadow Pokemon from cipher and revert them back into regular pokemon. It has most of the things that Pokemon colusseum had and many more things too. And the starter is an eevee(early in the game a guy will give you one out of five items needed to evolve eevee into it's five evolutions)
