Question for Pokemon Colosseum

How do I get to Pokemart? I am stuck early on in the game. Are there some suggestions for getting through the first few levels?

The pokemart is right behind the poke center on the left side when you enter the town.

You should go to the mayor's house up the stairs on the left.
