For the guy who answered my other post, free battle is when you have 2 or more controlers. There is a pair of rental Pokemon that each person can choose from. Then, they battle. You can battle a computer. Or a friend. Does this game have that feature?

Yes. You can do 2 player but it will have to be a GC Controller and GBA(SP).
Don't Know for 3. But 4 Yes. But it may be for (Possibly) 1 GC Controller and 3 Game Boy Advances or All Game Boys. You must have 1 Game Pack Per GBA.
