Hi I'm having trouble cathing Entei can some one please give me a strategy..

I remember trying like 5 times. But we did catch him with an Ultra ball.

If I could do it, it could not have been that bad.

He's weak to water, of course. Find something he's resistant to, like leaf, and use that kind of Pokemon to tap him till he's down to very low health.

Quick attack sometimes does very little damage, too.

It always helps if they're asleep or if you have another attack that lowers defense.

Have a lot of hyper potions to heal up your guys as you wait for him to weaken himself with Shadow Rushes.

Sometimes hitting the B button when you're throwing the ball and while it's rocking helps, but that may be my imagination.

I read it somewhere, and so now I do it, and I THINK my snag rate is higher, but I may just be very suggestible.

Just save before battling him, and be prepared to reset and try again.

A good way to catch entei or any other pokemon is to weaken it. I mean you really have to beat it up.

What I like to do it weaken it just a little then I will confuse and parylize it, so that it can hurt itself with shadow rush and confusion.

Then after that put it to sleep. All you have to do is use about 3 balls to catch it.

It worked for me.
