Well he likes Psychic types, he's got like 3 of them, so Umbreon will help a lot, he's also got Metagross, which is a Shadow pokemon, I would recomend not using your Master Ball because you have to fight the real boss after Nascour, and he has a Shadow Tyranitar.

I would recommend doing the Mt. Battle Challenge a couple times to boost your levels.

The legendary dogs don't hurt to have and have purified. Thats leaves one empty space for you to fill. It's up to you, i used Hitmontop.

But yeah, once you do the Mt. Battle Challenge, Nascour and Evice are push-overs, therefore you can catch Metagross with a Nest ball, that what I did.

I didn't even use my Master Ball on Tyranitar, I used a Timer Ball, but either one works.

Once you beat Evice, you will get to catch other Shadow Pokemon.
