What does the sleeping bag thing do? I've tried it but all it does is take me to the onion. Please help!!!!

The purpose for the sleeping thing is when your suit has taken large amounts of damage you can let one of your Pikmin carry you back to safety.
you just lie down for fun, let your pikmin carrie the leader or do a glithch to do it just go in a cave you can through pikmin off the edge and the has to be a dweevil. lie down whenitisn't carring anything and when its neer you then it will pik you up and eventuly it will walk off they edge ond then you can't be that person and on another floor you will find him dead and even outside[ this does not work with the big one but it doen't matter wich type
That's all it does. It gets you back to base quickly. Keep one Pikmin near you at all times.
