Am I missing a keycard?

I have all 3 keycards and I did everything by finding the Cog and all that jazz but for some reason I go to the key area and I only have 2. Now I know that 2 of the keys are in the rooms with the electric floors and the third key is with the question and answer so why do I only have 2 keys? I even backtracked and I have all 3 but when I go to put them in the slot it shows I only have 2. Any help would be much appreciated! I thought Lost Levels was hard but this is out of control!!

Maybe one of your card keys is an elivator key. Maybe the third card key is in Grodus's room. If not,I can't help you.
