Question for Paper Mario 2

How do you get to the sailboat platform in the sewers. I'm not talking about the first one you see, the one near the pipe that goes to Petalburg. I used tattle with goombella in the field, but she just asks if I remember how to use paper mode. What does that mean?

I think you use spring bounce to use a pipe above you. I forget my son got me there.

When you get to the water, go up until you see a shadow then spring jump up to the pipe. Keep going right until you see some land. Then drop down and there should be boat panel.

You need to look for a spring. When you find it jump on it and continue on from there.
