Question for Metroid Prime 2: Echoes

How and where do you get the dark beam? im at the part where it says you have to recover the luminoth weapon from the space pirates and the room its in is blocked by a dark door. Also I'd like to know where to get the 3 keys. PLEASE ANSWER SOON!

The Weapon:
Well, did you try going downstairs? There you have to beat DARK SAMUS. Then get on the elevator and go through the door. Whalah!

3 Keys:
Uh, I just did that today, so... But I will tell you that you find them in the control room, Dark Portal, Dark Aether. (You'll have to switch between portals).
