If you have the power combo use that after you paralys him with a charged wave beamthen use your heat visor when he is invisible + how do you kill the monster potecting the plasma beam

You use your X-ray visor when he's invisible.

First you need the plasma beam, the super missile combo, and the x-ray visor. Also be ready with full missiles. To kill the omega pirate, first you need to destroy his 4 plates on his body. You can either destroy each plate with 1 super missile or you can fire charged up plasma beam shots. I would suggest using plasma beam if you have less than 170 missiles. Once you destroyed the four plates he will call for help and disapear.

Tuck youself against the nearestt wall and look up and wait for the different colored pirates. Once you see one change to that color beam and use charged up beam shots unless they are yellow pirates and then you use a super missile. Right when the pirates are dead flip on the x-ray visor and change to the power beam. You will be able to see omegas plates reforming and a faint outline of him.

You must kill the pirates before you can see omega. Charge up the power beam before hand and when you find omega sock him with a super missile. If you hit him before his 4 plates regenerate he will fall over. Take this time to recharge your charge beam and position yourself in front of the next pool of phazon. (its usually the one to the left) Once he reapears lock on to him and sock him again.

If you get this far more pirates will come down. The good thing is that you can still see omega even though there are pirates! So try to ignore them. Then omega will reappear in the next pool of phazon.(to the left) and try to sock him again. If you dont get as far as i have explained just keep destroying his plates. Oh and i forgot to mention in the begginning that you can only hot him when he attacks.

Otherwise hell put up his shield. If you are far away from omega, he will attack with his missile launchers. if you stay a medium distance he will use his wave wake. if you stay near him, he will swipe at you with his claws. Try to stay medium space away to shoot his plates.

Hope this helps! =)

You already have a walkthrough on how to beat it, but I will verify the fact that the X-Ray Visor is the only thing that can detect it when it's invisible.

After releasing some Pirates to attack you, He will become invisible as you know. Well, here is the really damn tricky part. He won't instantly reappear in any Phazon pit. It usually takes about 5 seconds before he reappears in a pit, so take the time you have to shed some Pirate juice. When it reappears in a pit, you can sometimes tell by hearing a weird sound- I can't explain it, but first it will laugh, and moments later it will appear to the X-Ray Visor.

To hurt it while it is invisible, shoot a Super Missle at. Anything will hurt it, actually, but Super Missles are the best.

Also, when you are trying to bust up the Phazon platelets, wait for it to put down it's shield. Then, move up close to it with your Power Beam chanrged and let it have it. Immediately after wards, charge your beam and do this again. It's easiest to do this when it is using it's Ground Quake.

Even if you have around 200 missiles, all available beams/combos, and a ton of energy, beating the Omega Pirate with a traditional approach is extremely challenging. For me, a less conventional, more insane, downright kamikaze approach worked best--made it almost easy, in fact. First of all, you must understand that the only time you can truly hurt the Omega Pirate is while he is recharging at a phazon pool, which happens after you have busted all four of his glowing plates (super missles or charged beams work well for this, but the plates are only vulnerable while or right after he attacks you with a quake, missles, or claws). The conventional method is to keep a medium distance from him so that he continually uses the quake, as the shock wave is easily dodged with a double jump and you can attack his plates while you're in the air. This works relatively well, but aiming can be tricky and you'll run out of missiles very quickly if your aim is less than perfect. Why not morph into a ball, roll between his legs, and detonate a power bomb? You'll likely take a bit of damage from invading his personal space, but you can knock off 2-3 plates at a time this way (occasionally even all 4 at once!) and then finish his plates off the standard way if need be. Power bombs rule. However you knock him down, the important part of my approach happens when he disappears into x-ray land and lets the pirates loose. My idea is basically to ignore the minion pirates, except for jumping to dodge them as best you can. Yes, you'll take some damage. But you can immediately turn on your x-ray visor and after a few seconds, if you keep spinning around the room with your eyes peeled, you'll see the Omega Pirate charging up at one of the pools. While looking for him, you're--again, ignoring the regular troopers--charging your power beam, getting ready to deploy a super missile. The second he's in your sights, lock on and blast him. He'll disappear and reappear at another pool...if you're quick, you can get him again. You only have to hit him with 3 or 4 super missiles (and not all in the same "round," necessarily) before he's toast. This strategy may seem crazy, but it worked like a charm the first time I tried it. I took a lot of damage, yes, but the Omega Pirate was defeated after only two rounds of plate busting and if I had been a little more vigilant while in x-ray mode, I could have done it in one.

Never thought about the power bomb approach. Thanks, I'll give it a try.

You are some what right all of u but he still appears even if u don't kill the first wave of pirates. You can do this in 120 missles if u are an expert but stick with the power beam so you can quickly pull off a super missle. Thats how I beat him and it took me 3 min max. (sry if my spelling is off and look at the other post for the full walkthrough to face the omega pirate.)
p.s. scan the omega pirate while he is still in cryogenic sleep. It will be Difficult to scan while I'm battle.when it says "use extrme caution and hevy firepower it's not liong use the super missle on the power beam . And to make short work of the wave beam pirates use the super wave missle. ( found in the tower of light.)

Using power bombs you should be able to shred is phazon plates instantly, then kill of pirates QUICKLY and use X-ray visor + the flamethrower to kill him off quick, also, after you hit him enough that he teleports away, go to one of the other pools of phazon and wait for him to show up at the third pool. (he never spawns twice in the same place or next to you)

There's two ways to fight the Omega Pirate: The smart way and the stupid way.

The stupid way is to try and fight him with charge beams and super missiles to take out his phazon armor, take the time to kill his cronies when they appear, and THEN seek him out with your X-Ray visor to kill him. This method will get you killed CONSTANTLY since you're giving the Omega Pirate plenty of opportunities to attack and heal. Most of his attacks are pretty hard to evade, not to mention even super missiles will get absorbed by this guy making taking out his armor through conventional attacks an ordeal. Not to mention those super missiles will nto take out multiple pieces in one go. In short, by the time you get his armor down, the OP is likely to have taken over half of your energy down. And then focusing on the trooper pirates while the Omega Pirate is healing is also really stupid. Pretty much killing those pirates gives the Omega Pirate MORE than enough time to restore his armor, meaning you wasted your opportunity to actually damage the boss!

The smart way is to keep that Omega Pirate doing attacking and healing as LITTLE AS POSSIBLE. This means taking out his armor fast and IGNORING his cronies. How do you take out his armor quick? By sacrificing maybe a single energy tank by getting close and dropping a power bomb. He won't distance himself from you, so good chance you'll take out 2-3 phazon chunks easily. When he turns invisible, switch to x-ray and hop around like crazy. Ignore the troopers, compared to the Omega Pirate they're low-threat. As soon as you see the OP apper over one of the phazon pools, let loose a super missile or two. With skill and speed you can even kill the Omega Pirate before he fully restores the armor, but chances are you'll have to do this twice. Make sure you avoid using missiles and power bomb before this battle. With this method you'll easily reduce the Omega Pirate to well under two thirds of his health within the first minute of the battle and take relatively little damage yourself. The downside to ignoring the trooper pirates is that the second iteration you will likely have to contend with both those pirates and the now-attacking Omega Pirate.

The toughest boss battles in this game come after you unlock the impact crater, trust me.
