I don't know how far you are, but to get the Phazon Suit and Beam - you have to get to the end of the Phazon Mines and defeat the Omega Pirate (what fun it is). If you have the help thing on - it'll tell you to get to a room where there's "High Levels of Phazon Detected on Mobile Source."
The suit is in the phazon mines with the omega pirate kill him (hes a pain trust me) hes got blue stuff called phazon in his legs and arm they kill you when you step on it oh and when you kill the omega pirate he falls on you and you turn all black thats the phazon suit and the phazon beam I'm not so sure how to use it
