Question for Metroid Prime

How do I get into the Gravity Chamber? I see a bunch of different doorways but I don't know how to get to them. Also when do I get the Grapple beam? I am getting so annoyed that I can't find it. Much help is appreciated!!

To get to the gravity chamber, you will need to know about stalagtites. These are hanging rocks that with a missile you can knock down. First, in the room I think you're talking about, sacn the ceiling for stalagtites. If you see any, get to an angle where they can be locked onto. Hit them with a missile to knock them down to create a platform. You should now be able to access places you couldn't get to before!
P.S. You can get a missile expansion this way. Go to a room where there is ice on the floor blocking a missile expansion. There is a stalag tite above it. Knock it down, it will fall, the ice will break. Now you can get the missile expansion!

It depends on what room you're in...
This is the order of rooms to follow: South Quarantine Tunnel, Transport Access, Frozen Pike, Frozen Pike Access, Frost Cave, Upper Edge Tunnel, Phendrana's Edge, Lower Edge Tunnel, Hunter Cave, Lake Tunnel and finally to the Gravity Chamber.
Keep looking around - you CAN get out of the room - you've got the Double Jump so it shouldn't be too hard, just keep looking around for higher platforms/levels/snow banks!
Oh - you won't get the Grapple Beam for quite a while yet - it's not until near the end of the game when you get to Phazon Mines...
