I noticed that the pianta people have an ability called "laser" what's it do and how do I use it?

The "laser throw" is only used to throw out runners that are going home. When you perform the "laser throw," the light trail on the ball should be yellow and you should see the star effect like when you do a "big play."

I think that besides throwing the ball home, you have to be using a fast throw (if you were throwing to any other base, the light trail would be blue). To do this you just have to push the direction of the base you want to throw to at the exact same time as the throw button.

If you have 5 team stars you hit the ball like you are using one team star. If you do this with a Pianta or DK it is an automatic home run.

Itmake a extremely fast throw which only works on 3rd or home.

Charecters with LAZER on thier abilities can throw really fast to home if someone is going home

If a baserunner is heading for home, some characters can throw a "lazer-beam" ball which is very fast and thus increases the chance that you will throw the runner out. Only Bowser, Pianta, DK, and Waluigi can do this.
