Question for Mario Superstar Baseball

How do you get ice bro because I thought you could hit 5 homers in a game with each bro (15 homers) Is this correct?

True, the Hammer Bros. Are capable of that, especially if they're superstars. But the blue one is easily unlockable. You unlock him by unlocking the regular Hammer Bro. His colored brothers should come with the package.
