Use your captain (Mario, Luigi, Peach etc.) and unleash a Super Strike (make sure Super Strike is on in Options). If you get a goal it is worth two! When you get the Super Team anyone can use the Super Strike as long as they are in the attacking half.
or you can shoot with the minions from far out, and you can choose to which side of the goal you'll shoot with the joy-stick(the one also used for walking)
