Question for Luigis Mansion

Okay heres the deal i'm at the part where there is a blackout and all the ghost are set loose some of the ghost are really powerful and I don't know how to get to the portrait ghost without dying HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you can find a mirror, use the GameBoy Horror on it to transport yourself back to the start of the Mansion. Uncle Grimmly is on the second floor in the Wardrobe Room - go up the stairs, enter the door in the middle and follow that path around until you get to the Wardrobe Room.

P.S Don't bother with the Ghosts, they'll never go away - so just keep running!
