You need to defeat all the ghosts in the second area to remove the spikes plant from the door that leads to the courtyard. Good luck and hope I helped you!

I believe there is a door in the kitchen that leads you outside, when you are outside, you must defeat all ghosts in that area, after that something will apear in the doghouse. Press x to get out you camera thingy, and take a picture of it. You have to be near it though.

After you beat Mr. Bones and the dog, take our your gameboy horror to take a picture of the doorway of the doghouse. It will open the way.
