Question for LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy

I have both Lego Star Wars I and II but am unable to unlock the OLD Save so that I can buy it. Does anyone know what needs to be found to unlock this feature?

I have also found that on the level of The Great Pit of Carkoon that when you get on the ship, go up the elevator after getting on the ship there is a cage like door. You blow it up and kill the 4 characters in that room there is a green arrow showing up on the mini kit detector. How do you unlock this kit so that it will appear?

I will anser your first question.they need to be on the same memory card.

'Use Old Save' should already be available for purchase right away, you shouldn't have to unlock it.

As for you second question, a green arrow means that a minikit is near but in an adjacent room or area-in this case it's one of the two minikits that are on the outside of the sail barge at either the front or back.
