Question for Harvest Moon: Magical Melody

I've noticed there is a gate behind ( I believe) the mayors house that has a pic of a horse and horse shoe on the top of it. Does anyone know what it is?

Its the entrance to the horse race field were you race horses of course but you can't go in there unlease you go to the horse race festival in the fall or spring.

It is the entrance of the horse race, and once you get all 100 notes, you can go in it to practice for horse races, and do other stuff there.
