You have to choose it at the begining of the game. If you chose the other dog there is no way you can get it.
You go to the dig site and dig a rock with writing on it evry year until you get the dog
You can't get the chihuahua...Natume said so. Only the cat and dog. You get the cat from Romana. I got it in the third year. I'm answering every question that pertains to pets such as, the lizard, raccoon, turtle, owl and chihuahua. You can't get any of them. They are rumors/lies that have been perpetuated for years...even in faqs. You won't see pictures or video because you can't get them.
