The fact that you havent gotten your horse yet in chapter 2 cofuses me. Your supposed to get the horse from Takakura, who will call you during any day around summer/fall in the first chapter. I'm not really sure what you could have done not to recieve the horse. I have one theory that could help though; If so far in the game you havent sold/bought anything from the Food Storage room, then in theory Takakura would never have gone to the city so far in your game. If he was never sent to the city to sell/buy an item(s) for you, then he wouldnt be able to get you a horse, so make sure you've sold/buy at least one item from the Food storage room. I'm not sure thats the problem, but thats the only thing I can think of.
