I have been wondering for the longest time how you know when you have befriended someone. Does anyone know?
For example, I keep giving gifts to Vesta for the Strange Hoe, but I have no idea when she will give it to me. Does anyone know when/where the events are for Vesta and Daryl?

You know when you've befriended someone if he or she is walking by you and turns their head towards you. They WILL NOT turn their head if they're standing still, even if you are their friend.
