A few questions here:
1) I'm in chapter two, and I'm really trying to get my son to be a farmer. I've married Gustafa...so, you see, it's not exactly easy. I take him to Vesta's farm everyday, am GREAT friends with Marlin, Celia, Vesta, and Takura, am always showing him my crops, seeds, and tools, and am discouraging him in everything else. Still, neither his like nor affection will go up (it's already Fall). What's wrong?
2) Is there a heaven in this game? There's one in Oh!WL and I've heard rumors about it. Is it here?
3) Do the cheats really screw up your game? Nothing's happened to me yet, but I used them a lot so...?

I only have answer for no. 2. Yes there is a heaven chapter in this game. When you complete the 6th chapter it says you die. Then it goes on with the next chapter called Heaven. I haven't completed that chapter so I don't know what happens after that.
1) keep encouraging him.. Leave him in the pasture for a while.. Have you actually took him off the farm and showed him to vesta, marlin, and celia?? If you haven't then you need to.

3) no they don't.. I've done a lot of cheats and it hasn't affected the game..
