Question for Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life

Okay, these might sound somewhat stupid, but I have been wondering for like, ever.

1) Does your dog ever leave the farm? When I try and bring him out, he jumps from my arms.
2) Does the boat (I wonder who it belongs to...) serve any purpose? Or is it just there for dramatic effect?
3) Do you need all the tablets to acquire the Chiwawa (sp) from Carter? Or can you just be reaaaly nice to him?

Oh yeah:

My horse now hates me. Well, I can't raise the hearts, and every time I go to give it love, it just snorts. Any tips?

1) your dog will never leave the farm it will only stay in your farm..
2) I think the boat doesnt have any purpose at all...
3) I don't know about the answer for this.. Lol sorry bout that..

Bring your horse outside the barn and all of your other animals as well... When your horse is outside the barn ride your horse... This is one way to make your horse happy.. Ride it..

Mine snorts too some time it means it is tired and doesn't want to b bugged but it loves to b brushed and washed and when you take it out for a long time carry fodder or an apple with you so you can feed it by hand I hope this helps :(
