Question for Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life

Marlin has 4 hearts but he doesnt accept the blue feather. At the end of the year and he didnt come to me either rock came instead. How do I get marlin to marry me?

Tne timing must me right. I would say that you should give him something before you give him the blue feather. Give him something he really like and you might just get to marry him.

You need to see all or most of the cutscenes for Merlin to accept it.
The first one happens in Spring when you go into Vesta's house. The next one happens in Summer when walk out of Vesta's house in the morning. (After he leaves and when Vesta and Celia stay in) The third one is Fall (believe it or not =P) after you cross the bridge heading to Vesta's farm. (This happened later in the day for me) The last one happens in Winter when you enter the farm.
You need atleast the same amount of hearts per cutscene (1st cutscene: 1+ hearts, 2nd cutscene: 2+ hearts, ect.)

I got him to 4 hearts and he wouldn't accept it for awhile. But after the third cutscene he accepted it. Even if he accepts it in fall you won't be married until the next year because it's still ch. 1

Good luck if you decide to try and get him again.
