Pregnant Cow

Question asked by PokemonQueen99 on

Pregnant Cow

My cow got pregnant (on her own, not with a Miracle Potion), and she's doing fine, but...
How do I know when it's time to use that isolation fence? And is there any particular treatment I should give a pregnant cow?

If it's your first pregnant cow then Flak and his little sprite friends will tell you, if it's the second or third then the cow should tell you, you'll know what I mean...

Well, the first time your cow gets pregnant, Takakura will isolate her for you. But anytime after that, you'll have to do it on your own. The way you can tell if your pregnant cow is ready to be isolated is if her utters turn dark red. At that point, go up to the cow and talk to her. Your character will then decide it's time to isolate her. All I can say is make sure she has food all the time, talk to her and nuzzle her to make her happy until she gives birth. Hope I helped :]

When you try and milk her and it says her utters are red and swollen that means it will be time to put her in the isolation fence. If this is your first time breeding a cow then nik, nak, and flak will show you how to put her in the isolation fence. If you've already had a calf before go into the tool shed [next to the barn] and go to the metal container. That is the isolation fence. It will ask what cow you want to use it on and you should only have one cow pregnant at a time you will choose the cow that is pregnant. Then your cow will be isolated. Again, if this is your first pregnant cow nik, nak, and flak will put the calf in the hutch. It will be outside, next to the tub. Again, if you've already had a calf go in the tool shed and right next to the isolation fence is the hutch. Select your calf and it will put the hutch outside next to the tub and your calf will be in it. Make sure you feed the calf with fodder everyday and milk your cow that was pregnant and it will give you mother's milk. Go to the hutch and show the calf the milk. It will drink it. Do that atleast twice a day and your calf will be healthy.

Hope I helped =]
