I know that this questions has been asked but it was always asked about Marlin and I have all the requirements.
Ok so I had all the cut scenes with Marlin and I tried proposing but all he says is "what is this...?" Am I proposing to early? (I'm in Winter 2) Or is there a glitch or something in my game? He has four hearts and I had the fourth cut scene so... I don't know.

My sister married Marlin. That same thing happened to her. If you try torwards the end of winter he should accept the proposal.
Just wait til he proposes to you..and give him lots of food...he doesn't like spicy things though...
