Can anyone tell me a good way to get past the man in Magical Menagerie to get Ginny's scale?

All you have to do is run really fast to the button on the wall that is shows you in the beginning, the run really fast to the door. That's it. BUT, wait a second before you do that to make sure the man is not looking.
