Is there a secret coin in the maze to unlock Medusa? I always end up missing one

The coin maze is in ghost town right next to the exit. You have to find a lever that pulls it down
I have this problem. I think it is an error with the game because I'm perfect at guantlet
For 2 player, there is a spotlight at the top of the Midway Games symbol that the map is made of. Push into the crops and you will find a secret coin hidden up there. Hope this helps anyone in the future.
