Help I am stuck! Cannot get passed Whitey and Spike after Rita steals the ruby. I need to get out of the room I am in and cannot find exit. Can anyone help please!

After you get the ruby run passed them, they don't dodge well Go to the bear skin rug and activate the bungee. It's in the ceiling.
