Question for Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles

I actually have three questions:

First, in one player mode in Rabena Ta Re, is it worth the trouble of trying to hit those double switches for the item back there? I haven't been able to do it and don't want to waste time if it isn't a great item.

Second, I'm in my 12th year and have been using one character this whole time. Any clues on how to start using a diff. Person without them dying in the first dungeon I walk them into?

Third, I'm trying to make golden gloves, but my blacksmith father can't, nor can the blacksmith in Marr's Pass or Alfitiria. Ideas?

Awnser for second start new charicter go to starting place just keep fighting with him if he dies continue the monsters you killed will be gone just keep going till all dead (or at least esey ones) then do it over and over.

I can answer the third question.
The golden gloves, if that's what they're REALLY called, can be made by the blacksmith in Marr's Pass, just make sure you're going to the right one. The eastern blacksmith makes armor, like your gloves, and the one on the western side makes weapons, like swords and such. However, if the Golden Gloves count as an accessory and not gauntlets for Lilties, they can be made in the south-western corner of Shella. Lastly, your blacksmith father can make ANYTHING, but it takes at least 30 years for him to make everything!

I can answer the first you cannot hit the double switch no matter what in single player it is only accessable in multiplayer with 2-4 people because the switch respawns in seconds before you get a chance to destroy them. So if you want the item get a friend and start playing and try to get it that is all I can tell you.
