Developing weak characters.

I made a male, and femail of each race, and my fist character is MUCH stronger then the others. I'am in year 4 I think. And I'am afraid that if I try to fight with a fresh character that I will keep dieing. What do I do?

after year 1, you cant really train your other to characters. The only way to level them all up is to replay each level with each character, for every level, and every year. That is The ONLY way that I know of to do it. (Its alot easier if you're doing 4-player because then it only takes 2 trips to train everyone). So I suggest that you make a new file if you want to train all 8 characters. (Most people just use one character, or two if they have tons of time.)

Find a level that you completed in year 2 that doesn't have any mhyrr left, then go there with your weak characters and go around defeating monsters and finding chests until you find a decent weapon, such as an iron or mythril weapon. When you have what you want DON'T go to the boss, just go back to the entrance and leave, you will keep your items but you don't have to waste your time with a boss fight.

After that make sure you have the correct materials and enough money to make the weapons, then go and make them and equip them. You can also do this with armour and acessories.

Doing this will give your characters enough strength to make it through the harder levels and get stronger, but I suggest only training in levels withough mhyrr as these levels do not get stronger with the years until the mhyrr there is replenished, so a level that had it's mhyrr collected in year 2 will only be at year 2 strength until year 5 when it's tree had mhyrr again.

I used this method and I now have 5/6 strong characters at year 4. (I was lazy and forgot about the 6th one) Although it does still take quite a while.

Hope this helps. Smile
