Does the order matter

In Lynari Desert, I know I need to do certain things to move on like thunder on the cactus and so on. Does the order that you do the things in really matter or can you just do them. Also could you refresh me on what they are?

Yes there is. If you don't do the right order you will mess it up.
Start with using thunder on the cactus
Use gravity on the broken tent
Use fire on the mushroom shaped rock(It really doesnt look like a mushroom)
Use Blizzard on the three rocks in the order of small, medium, large.
Finally use Holy on the flower near the entrance.
That will give you the unknown element which lets you go through any miasma stream including the unknown one. The only drawback is that is doesnt protect you from anything.

Well yeah theres an order:

1. Head north from the entrance untill you find a large cactus, If your at three different sized stones you're just south of it. Use Thunder on the largest cactus.
2. Go east and hug the wall untill you come to a broken tent. Use Gravity on it.
3. Continue to hug the east wall untill you come to a stone mushroom that says "This place seems spiecial" Cast Fire on it.
4.Head back to where the cactus was and head south and use Blizzard on them from smallest to largest.
5. Then a yellow flower will bloom near the moogle house. Cast Holy on it. (for me, blizzard and life made holy)
