Hello. I am playing Eternal Darkness. I missed getting the Trapper Scroll in Chapter 6. Now I am stuck in the War chapter and can't get the 7 point circle. This is needed to open the wall. Do I have to start over? Thanks Kelly

I'm sorry to say that you have to. (same thing happened to my friend)
That's not entirely true. Did you just fail to get the Summon Trapper scroll, or did you fail to get the Tier and Aretak runes AND Codices?
If you have the Runes AND Codex stones you CAN cast the Summon Trapper spell. Go to your inventory. Find Magic and choose "New Spell". Choose an Alignment Rune, then Tier and Aretak. The spell will work, but it will have no name. Just a spell number. Using this method it IS posible to use spells you have not yet gotten the scrolls for but have all usable Runes.
If you failed to get a Rune and/or it's Codex, THEN you'd have no choice but to start over again. Scrolls are actually NOT required to cast a spell as long as you know which Runes are used. NOTE: Mantorok cannot be used as part of a Summoning spell.
No. You do not have to start over. As long as you have the runes you will be fine. And NO. You DON"T have to have the codexes for the runes. I know this for a fact. As long as you have the runes, you will be able to cast the spell. You need Aretak and Tier. If you did not get the rune codex, look up a list of the runes so you know what they look like.
