How do I get dragonballz?

Well, if the GameCube version is just like the PS2 version, then all you need to do for each Stage (except for the 1st one) is obtain the Dragonball Radar. After that, when it's your characters turn, change the map to show the radar, then follow the little arrow to the location of the dragonball. When your character is on top of the dragonball, search the area.
Simple you just play the story mode and on the map of each map , until you get all 7 dragon balls, there will be a dragon ball, also sometimes you might have to dig for it
